Scott Ritter, former Chief Weapons Inspector for the United Nations and highly trusted commentator on US activities in the Middle East, will speak in South Pasadena in a rare appearance in this area.
Former military commentator for Fox News, Scott Ritter accurately predicted the attack on Iraq and the long stay in that country against a hostile political climate. In his new Book " Waging Peace" Scott Ritter served as an intelligence officer in the United States Marine Corps for twelve years until 1996, initially as the lead analyst for the Marine Corps Rapid Deployment Force concerning the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan and the Iran-Iraq War. During Desert Storm, he served as a ballistic missile advisor to General Norman Schwarzkopf. Ritter later worked as a security and military consultant for the Fox News network.
This is a rare event for South Pasadena and area residents.
