FULL HOUSE VOTES ON $125 BILLION WAR SUPPLEMENTAL
on

KEEP THOSE CALLS COMING IN!
1-888-796-7578 (toll free)

[If you already called once, call again.]

ASK FOR YOUR CONGRESSIONAL REP :
TELL HIM OR HER to

VOTE NO ON THE SUPPLEMENTAL!
You can't be against the war while voting to continue funding it.
END THE OCCUPATION! BRING THE TROOPS HOME NOW!

Nancy Pelosi and John Murtha have piled on the pork and added funding for all kinds of programs -- many of which may be worthy of support on their own but have nothing to do with Iraq -- to get both pro- and anti-war Dems to vote in favor of their disastrous plan. (They also stripped out an amendment to prevent a military attack on Iran.) If this passes, it will virtually guarantee the war will continue well into 2008.

Their talk of a timetable for redeployment is deceptive. Their plan will not bring all our troops home. Their benchmarks of Iraqi progress include Iraqi passage of an oil law that will put Iraq's oil resources under foreign corporate control for a generation. The Pelosi/Murtha plan would allow the U.S. military to remain in Iraq for many years to come.

Working people have a timetable for withdrawal from Iraq: Troops home NOW !
STOP THE WAR FUNDING NOW, and use the already-monstrous War Budget ($140 billion this year alone) to
BRING THE TROOPS SAFELY HOME, RIGHT NOW!

Dont be fooled by the misleading claims that somehow another $100 billion for war is needed for the troops protection. NOTHING COULD BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH. This huge cash outlay guarantees thousands more deaths of U.S. troops and civilians alike. That's why both Military Families Speak Out and Iraq Veterans Against the War join U.S. Labor Against the War in opposing this scheme.

Its not too late! Please make the call!
1-888-796-7578
Ask fellow union members, co-workers, families and friends to do it too!

Not one more death! Not one more dollar!
Not one more day!
