PLEASE SIGN THE BELOW PETITION IN SUPPORT OF FIRST LIEUTENANT EHREN WATADA

Below you will find the petition to sign in support of First Lieutenant Ehren Watada, the first commisioned officer to refuse to deploy to Iraq on grounds that the war there is illegal per international law. Today the military postponed the subpoened testimony of Dahr Jamail, Sara Olson and Kevin Ngeuyn until the official court marshall on February 5-6. The defense is SUBMITTING the signitures from the below petition at the court marshall as evidence that MANY people support Ehren's stance from ALL AROUND the world. You do NOT have to be an American citizen to sign this petition. There is still a month to gather more signitures to be presented to the judge at the court marshall, PLEASE, if you have not signed the petition yet, PLEASE do so now. Thank You EVERYONE who supports Ehren in his fight against this illegal and inmoral war. And PLEASE do consider posting this alert on your own blog if you have one. Sicncerely, THANK YOU>

I salute his courageous moral leadership and

I stand in solidarity with him as he faces a court martial for following his conscience.

Thank you, Lt. Ehren Watada, for standing up for international, U.S. and military law by refusing to deploy to Iraq and participate in the ongoing illegal war and occupation.

From the preemptive invasion based on deception, to the deaths of tens of thousands of Iraqi civilians and 3,000 U.S. troops, to the infamous Abu Ghraib torture cells and the Haditha massacre, no additional evidence is required to understand how very wrong this war is.

We appreciate your decision to follow your conscience.

We salute your true leadership; we are learning from your example and your courage.
