On the Beatles Invitation to Israel: Ringo and Paul "they are not going to get together just because it is Israel’s 60th"

So that invitation to the Beatles to reunite for Israel's 60th "birthday" is "the biggest load of nonsense" according to the Jewish Chronicle:

The Palestine Solidarity Campaign has written to the surviving Beatles, Ringo Starr and Sir Paul McCartney, asking them not to accept invitations to attend Israel’s 60th-anniversary celebrations.

The pair were invited by Israeli ambassador Ron Prosor during a visit to the Beatles Museum in Liverpool. More than 40 human-rights organisations supported the PSC move.

But according to Jerry Goldman, director of the Beatles’ Story museum in Liverpool, the two survivors of the Fab Four were unlikely to go to Israel anyway. He told the JC: “It’s the biggest load of nonsense I have ever heard. Ringo Starr and Sir Paul McCartney have made it clear that they are not going to play together again, and they are not going to get together just because it is Israel’s 60th. I am delighted that Israel is celebrating its 60th, but let’s get real.”

And we are NOT delighted Mr. Goldman, because Palestinians will not be celebrating, but rather they will be commemorating the Nakba!
