I saw something the other day on the BBC where it showed 100's of half built buildings waiting to be finished but can't be because of the blockade...

Children and families could have homes, people could have jobs in construction and the economy could grow, but the world will never allow it.

My friend and I were recently discussing about how modern society has evolved to become so integrated with technology. Reading this post makes me think back to that debate we had, and just how inseparable from electronics we have all become.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Societal concerns aside... I just hope that as memory becomes cheaper, the possibility of copying our brains onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's one of the things I really wish I could see in my lifetime.
